IKG offers a broad range of Swage Locked grating products in a wide selection of styles that suit your application.
Standard panels are available in 2-0 or 3-0 wide by 24-0 long (span).
The strength of IKG Aluminum Plank grating comes from the bearing bars. The cut-out portions of the surface provide passage for heat, light and air, but do not reduce the load bearing capacity of the flooring. Aluminum Plank grating provides a flush walking surface and high strength to weight ratio. Its architectural appearance and low-maintenance makes it ideal for many applications. Aluminum Plank Grating is available from IKG in punched and unpunched stock panels and can be cut at the job site as needed, or IKG will fabricate it to your requirements.
Among the oldest and most versatile types of metal bar grating, pressure locked grating is when the metal bars are bonded together under intense pressure without the use of heat or rivets. The resulting clean, uncluttered lines and architectural appearance is attractive for grillwork, screens, dividers and other applications where maximum passage of heat, light and air is desired.
Use custom IKG heavy duty grating for your specific needs. It is available in two different cross bar configurations, which are hand-welded in place using conventional shielded gas methods. Bearing bars are required to be pre-punched to receive either a round (Type HW) or rectangular (Type EC) cross bar.
The rectangular cross bar configuration offers increased lateral stability and is recommended where highly concentrated or turning wheel loads are present. Durable, with a high strength to weight ratio, our economical Custom Welded Grating is suitable for drainage trenches and inlets, as well as other applications.
Riveted grating is the oldest design of grating made. We offer it in carbon steel, aluminum and stainless-steel alloys. Riveted grating provides a versatile architectural appearance and a comfortable pedestrian walking surface. The truss style crimp bars provide excellent lateral stability that is ideally suited for rolling and turning wheel loads, such as for forklift and pallet jack traffic areas.
